This was the last music video that Meat made for a single release and I thought it'd be interesting, to look at that video again, one year on to see if my feelings towards it have changed.
When I first saw it, I enjoyed it but it seemed quite unlike the dramatic music videos he's done in the past. I was a little bit disappointing to start with but I also accepted the fact that the song was part of Meat's new direction and the video was also part of this new direction.
One year on I'm watching the video and the first thing I notice is the sense of fun in this video. Everything is done with a light hearted touch and Meat's sense of humour clearly shows. Back when I first saw the video I was disappointed that it wasn't one of the mini-movie style of videos he'd done in the past but thinking about it again, the song wouldn't have suited the dramatic videos of the past.
I love the blue and the red suits that Meat's wearing and they help to make a clear distinction between the good and evil characters that Meat's playing to anyone watching the video.
What are your thoughts on the video?

This was the first music video of his that I ever saw. I don't really remember thinking much about it other than liking the song and thinking what an expressionate face he had.

What are your thoughts on the video? I love that video from the 1st time I saw it ---quirky, fun, addicting... I think I plum wore out YouTube watching the first couple days. LOL Between the red and the blue, I think he looked real good in the blue jacket. To me, that color looks best on him anyway. But like you, I enjoyed the bad vs good aspects to it. For shame, preacher! LOL An the eye roll toward the end of the video is my favorite scene. Between it and that huge grin right at the very end of the song, I laugh every time... I was real disappointed when Meat said no videos were planned right now, in his latest Q&A's. I was hoping to see some very touching moments on video ---Blue Sky, All of Me especially. But if Los Angeloser is the last vid he does for a while, I'm not too terribly disappointed either.
